Short story: Paul McCartney's Scrambled Eggs
Paul McCartney's classic song "Yesterday", which was voted the most popular song of the 20th Century in a 2001 BBC
poll, had music long before the
lyrics were written. Until he
came up with "Yesterday"
McCartney used a curious temporary phrase while composing the song. The
working words? "Scrambled eggs." Look at the last stanza of the song:
"Scrambled eggs"
"Good for breakfast, dinnertime or
brunch
Don't buy six or twelve, buy a bunch
And we'll have lunch on scrambled eggs
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away. Oh, I believe in yesterday."

beat, the faster you eat.
Research shows that people take fewer
forkfuls per minute when
listening to slow rhythms. And slow music is better for your digestion
than no music at all. It is good to include soothing
music on your dinner menu because it encourages conversation.
