God remembers how long 8)It seems to me that I'm a fluent speaker yet I'm still eager to practise and develop my language skills. Currently.. I've run out of the ideas "How to keep my English up to date" ;(I read a lot in original - for instance the latest novel by Nick Hornby (and I do recommed it to all women and men who have ever gone out with a person of opposite sex for more than three years:)) I watch BBC Prime ans TVN Lingua... alas, it's not enough for me. I'm desperately looking for a person who's got some experience in practising English via chats or Skype. I must agree. Learning words is very important. And so is grammar. But to tell the truth, learning how to speak is quite important too. I'm living in England for quite few years now and even though I thought I was fluent in English when I came to UK I didn't realize how many accents is here. I was really afraid to speak for first few days. But with practise I leared quite a lot. And like my hubby says now I speak like Polish cocney. Which is probably not bad after 8 years is UK . So to those who want to learn to speak, you have to try and find native speakers. Good luck.
