One of the greatest advances in the modern technology has been the invention of computers. There used in the industry on universities, in banks. It is also possible for ordinary people to use them every day. Computers & capable of doing extremely complicated work in all branches of learning. They can slave the most complex mathematical problems or put thousands of unrelated facts in order.
These machines can be put to various uses. For instance, they can provide information on the best way to prevent traffic accidents, or they can count the number of times the word “and” has been used in the Bible.
For example, computers are used in hospitals. By providing a machine with a patient’s symptoms, a doctor can diagnose the nature of his illness. Computers have revolutionised the way we live & work. But it is early days for computers. We don’t know how now much they are still changing the world.
Computers can help educate & entertain people. Computer has a lot of memory & we can store useful information.
Besides computers may help scientist to work because of filling gaps in their dates & keeping other in materials they have. Computers are very useful for students which want to find quickly a book they need among many books in the library. There is a special computer program which contains numbers of every book & we can check if there is a book we wanted in this library. More over computer may teaches us the other language. There are many programs with exercises of languages & it’s possible to listen to a voice of teacher if we have a special music card. Computer cheeks all our work & estimate it. It may be more interesting then learning from books or working with any corresponding course.
Twenty first is a century of computers. Living with them is simple & we are able to do more things in shorter time. The worst side of this invention is that computers may replace people. Will this century be an epoch of robots?
